The prototype did what it was supposed to do. It proved the camera could be stolen, that the facility could watch back, and that the narrator could become more than a voiceover. But a proof of concept is not a foundation. The next version needs to be rebuilt like the real game was always asking to become.
The Helix Limina Research Group vanished from public record. Your brother was part of its secret. The original prototype validated the core surveillance perspective, camera control, tactile interaction, dynamic narration, physical searching, and survival systems.
We are moving the project forward onto a stronger Unreal Engine 5.8 foundation. This allows us to scale the physical search systems, visual fidelity, and security camera overlays to match the technical goals of a full commercial release. More details will be shared once the rebuild path reaches its next milestone.
