Our Principles
Matt Desinics Designs LLC believes in minimal data footprint. We do not engage in invasive behavioral tracking, session recording, or third-party ads. We collect only what is explicitly necessary to run our studio communications.
Information We Collect
Currently, the only system on this site that collects personal data is our newsletter subscription form. When you voluntarily sign up for updates, we collect:
- Your email address.
- The timestamp and source of your subscription consent.
We use this information solely to send you news regarding The Promethean Project, Steam playtests, and related studio announcements.
Klaviyo Integration
Our newsletter subscriptions are managed through Klaviyo, our email marketing service provider. When you subscribe, your email and consent status are securely transmitted to Klaviyo and processed in accordance with their privacy policies.
You can opt-out and unsubscribe from these communications at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link included at the bottom of every email we send.
Data Sharing and Sale
We do not sell, rent, trade, or distribute your email address or any other personal data to third parties for marketing, advertising, or profiling purposes.
Private Access
If you use an invitation phrase to access private portfolio materials, we may process limited security records to validate the phrase, prevent abuse, and protect restricted materials. These records may include the access phrase label after successful validation, unlocked section IDs, timestamps, success or failure status, request ID, and a privacy-preserving security bucket used to limit repeated failed attempts.
We do not store raw access phrases. We do not create user accounts for private access. We do not use private access logs for advertising, behavioral analytics, or resale.
The private access area may use a strictly necessary session cookie to maintain access after a valid phrase is accepted. This cookie is used only for authentication and expires after the access session.
